At the moment, my best option is looking like a 2 hour train trip. Now, some people have real problems with being on a train for a million years, but I’m so used to it from travelling to and from uni every day, not to mention the train and bus shenanigans when I was heading in to the Zoo every week. The long train trip gives me a lot of positives, the main thing being a 2 hour nap. It can also mean 2 hours of uni work time, lesson planning and playing Solitaire on my phone. It also means a day where I am not in the dangerous position of being asleep at the wheel, and I really quite like that.
My school also has the option of being able to stay on campus overnight. Apparently the accommodations are pretty sparse, but hey… if it gives me a chance to wake up 5 minutes before school starts, bring it!! Things are a bit difficult to organise because I have uni on Tuesday nights, which is actually the perfect night for me to stay down at school because I have to be back there every Wednesday for a 7.45am rehearsal, but I’ll work around it all. I’m just so keen to make this work… I have my own desk and everything!!
Here’s to a return to normalcy soon… my circadian rhythms will be overjoyed.
